Maria is a costume maker who has always been fascinated with clothing and its ability to tell stories with the most subtle of details.
Originally from The Philippines, Maria has worked and lived in various cities across the United States and is now based in New York City. She is currently completing her Master of Fine Arts Thesis from Boston University under the direction of the Head of Costume Production, Nancy Leary.
She is an enthusiastic collaborator who enjoys learning from and working with people from different walks of life.
